About me

My story
Do you dream of spreading your company’s wings in the international market?
Hello, my name is Roksana Biedron – I’m the founder of RocketB, a consulting firm that helps entrepreneurs turn plans for overseas expansion into tangible results. My story began in a rather non-obvious way, and what on the surface seemed like an obstacle turned out to be the key to success.
While still at school, I was a master… at shirking German lessons! However, when life decided to play a trick on me, I had to master this very language at an express pace. Today, I can see that it was like a rocket launch – sometimes we need a strong stimulus to rise to a higher level.
While studying in Poland, I caught the bug of international life – scholarships in Spain and the UK helped me. There I learned about different styles of cooperation and cultures, which made me realize how important it is to understand different mentalities in business. Just before defending my diploma, I took a short ski trip to Austria… and unexpectedly fell in love with the country (and a certain skier, now my husband!). I decided to stay there to combine my passion for exploring new places with family life.
My first experience in the Alps was in operations consulting for terminals… container terminals. In Austria, which, after all, has no access to the sea! This taught me that nothing is impossible in business – what matters is flexibility and courage in implementing even the most unusual challenges.
Together with my husband, we have been developing our own business since 2014: starting with trade, and later also providing assembly services. Step by step we discovered the secrets of cooperation with various teams and suppliers, and in addition – almost spontaneously – we opened an online store, offering Polish products in German-speaking markets. Thanks to numerous industry trade fairs (I’ve been to them about 100 times!), I understood how to strategically approach relationships with customers and partners from all over the world.
Today, using 14 years of experience gained abroad, I support companies in RocketB. I create precise strategies for entering new markets – from researching legal requirements, to logistical issues, to effective communication with customers with different mentalities. Like the rocket launch itself: it’s all about preparation, a good plan and solid “fuel” in the form of knowledge and contacts.
